ClearPolicy

For HR consultants & fractional HR teams

Take your client’s policies from draft to signed records.

Your work doesn’t end with a finished handbook. Help small-business clients review changes, collect signatures from their people, and keep track of what’s outstanding—with records they can keep using after your engagement.

See the client rollout through

  1. 1

    Review the policy together

Prepare a draft revision and discuss changes with your client. Owners and admins can request optional approval from other existing owners and admins. Content changes invalidate earlier approvals.

  2. 2

    Publish, then request signatures

Publish when the draft is ready, then send document requests to the client’s people. Approval doesn’t publish or send requests automatically. People open their link and type their name to sign.

  3. 3

    Follow up where needed

See who still needs to sign. Use automatic reminders for unfinished requests and review activity before deciding who needs a personal follow-up.

  4. 4

    Share progress and retain records

Export completion reports to CSV or print them for a client check-in. Open individual completed requests to download signed documents and their Certificates of Attestation.

Give your client more than the finished document

A clear rollout update
Answer “Who still needs to sign?” with current completion information, not another round of email checking.
Continuity when policies change
Send revised policies for new signatures while keeping earlier completed records tied to the versions people signed.
A usable handoff
Leave policies, request history, and signed records in the client’s organization—not scattered across your own inbox and folders.
Review policy drafts with your client
The current wording is approved. You still choose when to publish.

Share progress. Retrieve the record behind each signature.

Export a completion report for your client check-in. Open individual completed requests to download each signed document and its Certificate of Attestation.

Export completion results to CSV or print a summary for your client.
Each Certificate of Attestation belongs to an individual completed request—not a bulk report export.

Work across clients. Keep each client’s records with them.

Use one sign-in to switch between separate client organizations. Each has its own people, documents, records, and subscription. Completion tracking is inside each organization, not a combined client dashboard.

We recommend the client creates and owns the organization, then invites you as an administrator. You can manage the rollout while keeping ownership with the client. When your membership is removed, their records remain.

Questions from HR consultants

What access do my client and I need?

The organization owner can invite you as an administrator; only owners can invite another administrator. Administrator access is broad, including billing. Client approvers must already be owners or admins—not guests using a review link.

Can I work with multiple clients?

Yes. Join multiple organizations with one sign-in and switch between them. Review each client’s completion separately; there is no portfolio-wide completion dashboard.

What does it cost?

ClearPolicy costs $29/month per client organization, with separate subscriptions. Each organization can try ClearPolicy free for 30 days without a credit card. This is not one subscription covering your whole consultancy.

Does this replace the client’s HR system?

No. Keep existing tools for payroll and broader HR work. ClearPolicy handles policy review, requests, signatures, follow-up, and records. You and your client supply and validate the policy content.

Do people need an account to sign?

No. They open their personal request link, review the document, and type their name to sign.

What happens when my engagement ends?

In a client-owned organization, the client can remove your membership and continue using its documents and records. Removing your access does not remove those records.
