## Product

ClearPolicy is policy acknowledgment software — not general contract e-sign. Organizations use it to:

- Upload and version policy documents (handbooks, child safety policies, codes of conduct, volunteer agreements)
- Send document requests to people (employees, volunteers, board members)
- Collect signatures or acknowledgments without recipients creating an account
- Track who has signed, send reminders, and export audit trails and attestation certificates

## Terminology

- **request** / **document request** — what is sent to a person to sign or acknowledge
- **signature** and **acknowledgment** — the two completion types
